Shivago Fund We are a charitable fund supported by instructors and schools of traditional Southeast Asian medicine. We are a group of like-minded teachers who are dedicated to the practice, education, and preservation of the healing arts of traditional Asian societies (ie. Thai, Lao, Burmese, etc.).

One of our strong beliefs is that those Westerners making a living from these traditions of medicine have a moral responsibility to give back through charity to indigenous people in gratitude for sharing their wisdom with us. Espace Thai -- Our goal at Espace Thaï is to acquaint more people with the advantages of Thai Massage, and to make it more accessible to everyone.

The teachings are precise and remain faithful to those offered in Thailand. The course is very practical, and the students (who are not necessarily massage therapists) learn sequences of movements and techniques that emphasize the use of the weight of the body instead of force to maximize efficiency with minimal effort.

Massage therapists are generally delighted following the training as they have not only learned an additional, original technique provided on a futon, but often, the course radically changes the way they massage on a massage table.
