Sessions…

I play in the watery realm of blended modalities… When addressing deep healing, I often work with combinations of dialogue, movement, energy, massage, sound, breath, silence… Many times I will offer material for you to work with on your own between sessions to help support your healing journey.

Work is done fully clothed. Please shower or bathe before sessions and wear comfortable clothes that you feel free to move in (avoid zippers and buttons if you can).

Sessions are 1-1.5 hrs in length.

Traditional Thai Massage...

Thai Massage is based in the During the massage, the practitioner guides the recipient into various yoga postures linked together in a flowing series, applying acupressure with hands and feet, arms and legs. Three levels are addressed simultaneously –the physical body (joints, muscles, organs…), the flow of subtle energy through pathways called Sen (meridians), and the realm of heart consciousness (spirit).

 

Yogatherapy...

Yogatherapy interweaves posture, breath, meditation and awareness to awaken the inherent healing energies of the body and unleash blocks to the flow of life-force, leading one to an awakened state of inner harmony and wholeness.

Ayurveda and Marmatherapy...

The healing principles of Ayurveda are rooted in the ancient rhythms and energies of Nature, and mirrored in your own body and mental/emotional nature. Ayurveda draws on natural therapies and lifestyle practices to bring the body, mind and spirit back to a state of balance and harmony.

One such therapy works with Marmas – vital points in the body where there is a junction of tissue, vessels, systems, and subtle yet potent life-energies. Marmas are stimulated with acupressure and energy-work to affect a healing response in their associated organs, tissues and energy channels.
