~ Yanumoja Yoga Teacher Training Basic ~  YYTT-Basic 235-hours

**Qualifies you for Yoga Alliance 200-Hour Recognition.

This weekend training is 235-hours in length (150-hours in-class, 40-hours teacher-supervised practice, and 45-hours practice teaching) and meets the standards for independent study (200-hours) with the Yoga Alliance (students can apply individually for Yoga Alliance registration after completion of all requirements of the course). Certification will be given through Three Winds Academy as a Yanumoja Yoga Teacher (235-hours).

Training over a length of time allows students to more deeply integrate the theory, philosophy and practices of yoga into their lives and more thoroughly develop their teaching skills.

The course is first and foremost a personal journey of transformation, and relies on the development of teaching skills and knowledge as the vehicle for their personal journey. This experiential training offers personal attention to each student-teacher.

The course is open to all students of yoga and other disciplines who are interested in attending any of the lectures or workshops for personal or professional development. (Some lectures are recommended or required for other Three Winds courses.) Student-teachers must therefore be aware that participants other than their peers may be present during their teaching-practice.
